Kelowna Afternoon Weather Forecast Saturday, February 22, 2025
Any lingering rain showers taper off during the late evening hours Saturday.
Clouds look socked in enough to keep a light freeze at bay for the lower valley (rather close however), with any ICE concerns relegated to the surrounding highest elevations through early Sunday morning.
Expect a very similar system and pattern Sunday as another wave of steady light rain pushes through the region through the evening, with clearing skies after midnight allowing for another potential light freeze and subsequent patchy ICE concerns for surrounding higher terrain by early Monday morning.
Extended
After drier conditions return Monday morning, one more wave of moisture and light rainfall looks to push through the region Monday evening and through the first half of Tuesday.
Snow-levels are looking lower with this system, and we may need to watch for light so accums for the surrounding higher terrain through Tuesday morning.
Otherwise, drier conditions look increasingly likely through the majority of the upcoming week, with a weak system potentially bringing a few light showers come Thursday afternoon.
